Как запустить PopupWindow или Dialog из службы ввода?

Я получаю то же исключение, когда пытаюсь открыть PopupWindow (или Dialog) из InputMethodService:

FATAL EXCEPTION: main

Если я попытаюсь открыть диалоговое окно, я получу точно такое же исключение в той же строке ViewRoot.java. Вот мой код (сокращенно):

Я пробовал много вариантов приведенного выше кода, но всегда получаю одно и то же исключение для PopupWindows и Dialogs. По какой-то причине работают тост-оповещения. Существует ли специальный метод для запуска PopupWindow или Dialog из службы (в частности, InputMethodService), в отличие от Activity?

На самом деле мне удалось сделать это, попробуйте это:
