Проблема: у меня много ситуаций с ошибками, (изображения в первом комментарии)

(№ 1): я получил это сообщение об ошибке, и я не знаю его причину.

(№ 2): у меня ничего нет в моем виде сетки (нет ошибок и нет данных).

(№ 3): я получил только имена столбцов и никаких строк, хотя в таблице есть строки.

Я могу ошибаться, но DataSet, похоже, не имеет возможности уведомления, поэтому DataGridView может удивиться, если вы измените его за спиной.

Вы можете попытаться явно показать, что вы меняете источник данных, сначала установив для него значение null:

dgv.DataSource = null;
dgv.DataSource = dataToWatch;
dgv.DataMember = tableName;
