Ваш класс Model, вероятно, все еще вызывает acts_as_messageable метод, который включает в себя Mailboxer::Models::Messageable Модуль в ваш класс ActiveRecord, который объявляет несколько дополнительных ассоциаций в вашей модели. Если вам не нужно обновлять Mailboxer и вы хотите полностью отключить вашу модель от Mailboxer, просто удалите acts_as_messageable линии, и вы должны быть в состоянии уничтожить ваши записи без каких-либо проблем с ассоциацией.
Похоже, вы используете предыдущую версию Mailboxer.
Попробуйте перейти на новый:
$ rails generate mailboxer:namespacing_compatibility
$ rails generate mailboxer:install -s
$ rake db:migrate
