Проблема заключалась в том, что yahoo-finance были испорчены пандами. Альтернатива - fix-yahoo-finance или y-finance.

Подсказка Anaconda, введите:

 python -m pip install yfinance
 pip install fix-yahoo-finance

Затем в приглашении Anconda /Pycharmn/Jupyter/Spyder и т. Д. Введите:

 import yfinance

Теперь можно действовать как раньше. yfinance имеет возможность загрузки
