Решение

Я нашел проблему в вашем коде.

Удалить self.window!.makeKeyAndVisible() от didFinishLaunchingWithOptions метод. Потому что это не требуется в то время. Эта строка обязательна, когда мы устанавливаем корневой контроллер вида окна, поэтому лучше animationDidStop метод.

Из вашего кода я вижу, что вы использовали Xib-файл для загрузки контроллера вида. Так что исключение поднято, потому что компилятор не может найти Xib для ViewController,

Здесь я также написал код для раскадровки, если вы хотите загрузить контроллер представления из раскадровки после этой анимации. Просто удалите вышеуказанную часть комментария и назначьте viewController как rootViewController для этого.
