Цвет строки состояния не изменяется с относительным расположением в качестве корневого элемента

Я только начинаю изучать Android, я учусь добавлять AppBar. Но если я использую Relative Layout в качестве корня, то в строке состояния не будет использоваться цвет "colorPrimaryDark", определенный в теме. Но изменив компоновку на CoordinatorLayout, сделайте это.

Может кто-нибудь объяснить разницу? Обязательно ли использовать макет CoordinatorLayout?

  <item name="android:statusBarColor">@android:color/transparent</item>

И как вы бежите на API 23заявленные стили переопределяются из v21/styles.xml,

Как решение:

Просто удалите эту строку, и она будет работать нормально

Стилизация строки состояния выполняется

android:fitsSystemWindows

тег. В настоящее время это не поддерживается для RelativeLayout. Либо вы попробуете другой макет, такой как FrameLayout, который может работать, но знаете, я бы предложил придерживаться CoordinatorLayout.

getWindow().getDecorView().setSystemUiVisibility(View.SYSTEM_UI_FLAG_LIGHT_STATUS_BAR);
