Мое подозрение - похожие имена дочерних свойств. Но есть ли правильный способ исправить это, так как похожие дочерние имена - это требование.

Решение

Хасита, я думаю, ты помещаешь каталогизируемый объект ("ele") обратно в саму функцию.

вместо

createTreeMap(ele);

попробуй что-нибудь подобное

createTreeMap(ele.child);

После привязки вашего источника к jqxTreeGrid Это небольшое изменение его структуры: добавление родительского свойства и свойства данных, где данные - ссылка на себя.
