Остановить git commit в pre-commit hook с выходом

Question

Я пытаюсь помешать git commit продолжить с зацепкой pre-commit. После прочтения руководства, оно должно прекратиться, когда вы вернете код выхода, отличный от 0. Вот твоя проблема. Этапы многокомпонентного конвейера выполняются в подоболочках, и выход из этого цикла выходит из его подоболочек. У субоболочек тоже есть свои собственные среды, поэтому вы не можете передавать переменные настройки вместе с ними.
