Я также ударил эти две ошибки в mediaStreamValidator и сумел их исправить

1) "Не может иметь дело с несколькими таймингами семплов на один буфер семплов" - это происходит с кусками fMP4, когда длительность семплов установлена "на семпл". mediaStreamValidator требует использования длительности выборки по умолчанию, равной для всех выборок дорожек в чанке, для этого в специальном атоме дорожки есть специальный флаг

2) "Ошибка при вводе данных сегмента" - означает, что валидатор НЕ МОЖЕТ загрузить чанк для анализа. Не из-за проблем с сетью, а по каким-то другим причинам.

В моем случае m3u8 содержал теги #EXT-X-BYTERANGE и #EXT-X-MAP:URI...BYTERANGE. И я использовал SimpleHTTPServer для локального тестирования (Python Oneliner, популярный в MacOS). И оказалось, что SimpleHTTPServer плохо работает с дальними запросами, обслуживая такие файлы без должного ранжирования. Таким образом, валидатор получил полные порции вместо байтовых данных.

После переключения на http.-сервер node.js вместо SimpleHTTPServer ошибка сразу пропала
