Вопрос 2 - Собственное ограничение с использованием Coproduct
Что я действительно хотел сделать, так это написать новое ограничение, используя Coproduct.

Пока экспериментировал... у меня все заработало

посмотрите, вот так

foo[Int :: Long :: HNil]
foo[HNil]
foo[Int :: Int :: HNil]
//foo[Int :: Long :: String :: HNil] doesn't compile
куда Inject[Cop,?]
является type I[X] = Inject[Cop,X]
(или вы можете использовать добрый плагин проектора для ?
синтаксис).
