Неожиданный тип BsonType при попытке извлечь данные из Memcached

Question

При получении кэшированных объектов из Amazon Elasticache (memcached 1.5.10) в моем.NET Core Web API я получаю следующую ошибку.

Локальный запуск memcached не выдает никаких ошибок, и он прекрасно хранит содержимое.

Глядя на источник, строка 578, ошибка указывает на то, что сериализатор не понимает один или несколько моих типов. Тем не менее, я не могу понять, почему это не так, и почему это будет работать локально.
