# update node
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chris-lea/node.js
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nodejs

# now brunch
sudo npm install -g brunch

После обновления до последней версии npm вы также можете попробовать установить последнюю версию бранча:

git clone https://github.com/brunch/brunch.git
cd brunch 
sudo npm install . -g

Теперь, когда у вас есть последний бранч, получите последний скелет и зависимости:

brunch new <name> --skeleton https://github.com/paulmillr/brch-with-chaplin.git
cd <name>
bower install
