MVCMailer SendAsync() не работает с Amazon SES

Что еще нужно рассмотреть, это использовать Task для выполнения асинхронной синхронизации в фоновом режиме, отделив ее от планировщика, который использует ASP.Net. Используя этот метод, вам не нужно менять appSetting.

Включение AllowAsyncDuringSyncStages или использование параллельной библиотеки задач имеют потенциальные недостатки. Использование AsyncController не имеет ни одного недостатка. Спасибо @StephenCleary за оспаривание моего ответа.
