Панель инструментов android.support.v7 & DrawerLayout- как скрыть значок гамбургера

Я реализую панель инструментов вместе с ящиком навигации. Я настроил свою панель инструментов с моими собственными представлениями. У меня есть собственный значок меню (Гамбургер) на панели инструментов, чтобы открыть ящик навигации, и я показываю количество значков на своем значке меню (Гамбургер). Поэтому я хотел бы скрыть значок гамбургера по умолчанию.

android:animateLayoutChanges="true" часть делает все это действительно хорошим. А также tools:ignore="UnusedAttribute" потому что минимальный SDK моего приложения установлен на 9.

Попробуйте это в onCreate своей деятельности:

getActionBar().setIcon(
   new ColorDrawable(getResources().getColor(android.R.color.transparent)));

Если вы используете AppCompat, замените getActionBar с getSupportActionBar,
