Отвечая на мой вопрос для будущих пользователей.

Даже после оптимизации кода, если section '.text' will not fit in region rom Ошибка не устраняется, и ее можно устранить следующими способами:

1. Используйте любую из других платформ contiki в соответствии с необходимостью радио.

2. Попробуйте обновить свой mspgcc до последней версии. [Это не всегда может решить вашу проблему. На некоторых других форумах я читал это предложение, поэтому я перечислил его здесь.]
