Позиционирование изображения заголовка в CSS
Я пытаюсь использовать баннер, который я создал в CS6 Illustrator, в качестве заголовка на моем сайте. Я помещаю его в качестве фона, устанавливая его в "верхнюю" позицию и "без повтора", но по какой-то причине он появляется в нижней части области заголовка с примерно 300px отступа между изображением и границей области заголовка, Я увеличил высоту области заголовка, чтобы вы, ребята, могли видеть, как далеко вниз отрисовывается фоновое изображение... оно расположено под текстовой областью, вместо того, чтобы отображаться как фон для текста (что отлично работает с небольшими изображениями).

Решение
Само изображение имеет отступ сверху.
Вы можете расположить фон, используя отрицательные значения вместо "top".
Например:
background: url("/images/HeaderImage.png")
no-repeat scroll center -30px transparent;
