Provision systems on cloud hosts / hypervisors and immediately bring them under management. Built on top of Salt-Stack, Salt-Cloud can interface with a variety of cloud providers and hypervisors across the market.
While Salt-Cloud is built into the Salt-Stack Master, it can also be installed on stand alone Salt Minions.
