A QLPreviewController, or Quick Look preview controller, provides a specialized view for previewing a file on the iOS platform.

A QLPreviewController, or Quick Look preview controller, provides a specialized view for previewing a file on the ios (4.0+) platform. The Quick Look framework supports the following file types:

iwork documents
Microsoft Office documents (Office ‘97 and newer)
Rich Text Format (RTF) documents
PDF files
Images
Text files whose uniform type identifier ( uti) conforms to the public.text type
Comma-separated value (CSV) files
