PowerShell Core is a cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux) version of Microsoft's command line and scripting utility PowerShell (tag powershell), built on.NET Core. It is distinct from, and can be installed alongside, Windows PowerShell. PowerShell core includes Powershell 6 and above.
